Drew Michael Collins

I am a recent graduate of the University of Washington with degrees in Community, Environment, and Planning (CEP) and Environmental Studies. I studied Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Environmental Systems and Design while at school, and I want to use those skills to help build a better world.

I’m fascinated by the big picture, and how communities interact with issues that effect all of us. My passion, and work centers on land-use and transportation systems. These interconnected aspects of the built environment can create or mitigate urban sprawl, affect climate change, habitat loss, and quality of life. I believe that key to affecting the way that people think about land-use and transportation is clear and precise communication about the choices we make every day.

I have lived in the Seattle area all my life and enjoy exploring this place on foot or two wheels.
